We decided to use a mortgage broker even though we could probably get the same deal directly from a lender because we wanted a team in place to overcome hypothetical obstacles that we may face. We hired Maurice "Moe" Barros because we asked a difficult moral question. Moe risked the deal to answer it directly. Then, when we tried to change topics, he didn't allow it until he was certain that we had enough information to form a wise perspective. Moe and our assigned processor, Laurance, were both incredible team members. Regardless of how complicated or the nature of my questions, they educated my wife and I every step of the way. When my wife and I made some risky decisions that were outside of the scope of finance, Moe asked questions to make absolutely sure that we understood the risk. And, when we suspected that something was very wrong and outside of their control, they empowered us to reason the best solution and effect it. Moe and Laurance even effortlessly adapted to my style of communication and management, then once again when I was forced by external issue to adopt another style, always maintaining professional demeanor. All of this is above and beyond our wise, efficient, and speedy process. A home is one of the largest and most important purchases one will make. And, Moe and Laurance repeatedly demonstrated that they sincerely care about us by proactively investing effort to ensure our wisdom and success. Weeks after the transaction, we still can't formulate any criticism. There's nothing more we could need, want, or would be nice to have. This is excellence.
