Who is Moe Barros: Choosing the right mortgage professional to guide you through the home buying process is an important decision. With 25 years of mortgage experience, I have helped thousands of families in fulfilling their dreams of Home Ownership. My educational background, Bachelors of Business at Ottawa University coupled with 25 years of lending experience has helped me understand the value of taking care of my clients needs by using the consultative approach. In addition, I have helped hundreds of Hispanic families with home ownership. My 1st language was Spanish, so I can communicate perfectly with my Latino friends whether it be in Spanish or English. Today's mortgage environment has become very challenging with constantly changing guidelines, rates and heavily scrutinized loan files. I start by explaining the entire process to my clients at the application stage and ending up updating both my clients and my external partners (Realtors) on a weekly basis until the loan closes. My wife and I absolutely love Charlottesville, VA. We have two horses, two dogs and two barn cats. When I am not working, I enjoy playing golf, squash, hiking and mountain biking.
